The digital watch with a mechanical soul
A GPU-rendered clock decoration for macOS, inspired by Swiss Haute Horlogerie. The dials sit directly on your desktop, on top of your existing wallpaper. Every hand, bezel, and mechanism is mathematically computed through Metal shaders using signed distance functions. No textures. Pure geometry and real-time lighting.
Dark mode — anthracite dial with tourbillon, mainspring, Geneva drive, and bimetallic balance
A Breguet-style rotating cage with balance wheel and hairspring. Oscillation amplitude rises with processor load.
A mainspring barrel in blued steel. The coil unwinds as memory fills, like a depleting power reserve.
A Geneva drive that indexes faster with network throughput. Discrete, intermittent motion — like a film projector.
A bimetallic compensation balance. The arcs expand and shift from silver to copper as temperature rises.
Light mode — fume teal dial inspired by modern Swiss houses
